Chad Frischmann
FOUNDER & BOARD CHAIR
Chad Frischmann is the CEO and Founder of Regenerative Intelligence (RegenIntel), a global advisory and education platform superpowered by a network of world class system thinkers and doers creating a virtuous cycle of regenerative intelligence. RegenIntel enables the effective implementation of the highest impact ‘system of solutions’ for the planet and for people at scale.
Chad is also the Founder of the Global Solutions Alliance (GSA), an international non-profit organization committed to creating a regenerative future. The GSA ecosystem works together to create and maintain a solutions-orientated knowledge commons and accompanying tools hosted on the Solutions Collaboratory (‘Collaboratory’): a free and open source digital public good designed by and for the planet’s solutionists.
Prior to launching RegenIntel, Chad was the co-author, lead researcher and architect of the Drawdown Solutions Framework, the engine underpinning the New York Times best-seller Drawdown: The Most Comprehensive Plan Ever Proposed to Reverse Global Warming (Penguin, 2017), the Drawdown Review (February, 2020), and all communications and engagement efforts at Project Drawdown, one of the world’s leading resources for climate solutions. Leading a global team of solutionists, Chad designed integrated global tools to assess the world’s most effective climate solutions and determine if, when, and how the world can reach “drawdown,” the point in time when the concentration of atmospheric greenhouse gasses begins to decline on a year-to-year basis. As the creator of Drawdown Solutions, Chad was the key spokesperson and coalition-builder of the Drawdown Solutions Framework to the world.
With an interdisciplinary background in public policy, human rights, sustainable development, and environmental conservation, Chad works as a systems strategist to build a new, regenerative future with cascading benefits to human and planetary well-being. He speaks and writes widely on topics linking real solutions to global challenges that benefit people and the planet.
